Leaf and stem have a very aromatic lemon fragrance when crushed. Fall color is clear yellow with 1/2″-long beautiful scarlet fruit. Very adaptable shrub. Host for butterflies and moths. Fruit eaten by birds and other wildlife. Full sun to part shade, medium, well-drained soil. Deer resistant.
